There and Back Again My Weekend with the Gruv Gear Stadium Bag
By Jonathan Moody for Bass Musician Magazine
I've been referring to it as my "perfect storm" of gigs; eight in three days. It was probably the only time when I had a legitimate argument for having three amps. Getting through this was going to require a lot of careful planning; I had different gear to use in three different settings, as outlined below...

Gruv Gear V-Cart Solo: The last hand truck you will ever buy.
I'll keep this short and sweet.
This is the finest hand truck that I've ever used. On top of looking very slick, this cart is so well thought out and put together that my only regret is not purchasing it sooner.

"This is how all products should be made. Everywhere. Everytime."
(James Rushin, Editor at MGR) Predict everything that people could complain about and have a 'fix' ready for them if they do, but still make a product good enough that most people won't need your fixes. GruvGear continues to impress me...
GruvGear's FretWrap Cleans up Tasty Bass Licks (The Extended Review)
It's not "just a replacement" for a hair tie any more than your new home studio is a "replacement" for your 1976 handheld cassette recorder. Once you've tried both, there really isn't any comparison. This one gets an Editor's Pick from me, and I very quickly made arrangements with Jay to get a set of my own.
Music Gear Review Takes The FretWraps For A Spin
Absolutely great product. Even in comparison with the hair tie you can get for free, it's still a great product, because it gets the job done so much better than any hair tie or any other solution ever has.
TheBassGeek.net Reviews the Gruv Gear FretWraps
If you've seen a Victor Wooten Band show, you've seen Wooten, his brother, and his bassist moving what look like hair scrunchies up on down the neck. And indeed, those are scrunchies used to dampen unwanted string noise during two-handed tappings runs and other high-impact playing. Gruv Gear now offers their own product intended to replace those scrunchies with something a little more versatile - the FretWrap.

Guitar Video Channel Reviews the FretWraps
I remember seeing gunslingers like Victor Wooten and Greg Howe with "this thing" on their fretboards. No it's not a capo, wait, I think it moves? Is that a hair tie?
V-Cart Solo: Best Purchase I made at the Winter NAMM 2011 Show
I first came across the GruvGear V Cart Solo as I checked out various booths at the Winter NAMM Show 2011 in Anaheim. A guy was pushing one loaded with boxes down one of the aisles. I'd never seen one before and it caught my eye, so I stopped him...
NoTreble.com reviews the Gruv Gear FretWraps and Solo Lite
The guys from Gruv Gear were showing off a few new products at their NAMM booth this year, including the new FretWraps and Solo Lite. Designed with bass in mind, the Gruv Gear FretWraps are a string-muting accessory made to replace the hair ties that most bassists keep above the nut. Available in three sizes, FretWraps fit around up to 7-string basses via an adjustable strap that also allows you to change the amount of pressure on the strings. It helps cut overtones and sympathetic resonance during tapping and slapping to clean up your lines.
Review of the V-CART Solo from Australian Magazine, MIXDOWN
As a drummer I've never forgotten the day when I finally bought a trolley and didn't have to make seven trips to the car to unload the kit for a gig. It was without a doubt a wake up call. Why hadn't I done this ages ago?
I'm sure countless musicians can relate to this. Over the years it's been all about how to minimise the effort required to lug gear and everyone has a system that works for them but Gruv Gear have now released a cart that will quite possibly change their minds when it comes to the right way.
Brent-Anthony Johnson reviews the V-Cart Solo on ShoutLife
The incredible design team at Gruv Gear have created an incredibly versatile transport cart in the innovative GRUV GEAR V-CART SOLO. This "dolly on steroids" might be the most versatile and easy-to-use personal musician specific gear transporter ever designed! Bass Musician Magazine reviews Gruv Gear's V-Cart Solo
Although I've never done a physical product review, when I brought the V-Cart Solo to the attention of BMM staffers they all agreed? "VERY cool. Hey, you should write about it!'. Although I normally would've declined and passed the buck, I just LOVE this cart and figured, who better to tell you about it!

GRUV GEAR on the Music Industry Newswire
I don't move furniture, studio equipment, stage sets, lights, speaker cabinets, or amplifiers, but if I did, boy-oh-boy would I want the Gruv Gear V-Cart Solo. Described as the "ultimate personal gear transport cart for musicians," this is the best way to get your gear on a roll.
Bryan Keith demos the V-Cart Solo for SonicState.com
I can relate to having to haul lots of equipment round, I thought I'd got it down to a fine art till I saw this superb construction from Groovegear(sp).
The V-Cart Solo gives you plenty of ways to make light work of your massive bass rig or drum kit or, ahem, over-complicated video rig.
Cool mention of us by our awesome new buds at MONO. Thanks Pat!
We met these guys at NAMM, and they make a product that we at MONO really stand behind. Any musician knows how much of a burden it is to carry all your stuff, that's why things like low watt amps exist...make it smaller because your back will love you. The thing about smaller gear is that sometimes it sounds smaller.
